“If you can live with the relatively small rear seats, then the Jeep Avenger is a great little electric SUV. It offers head-turning looks and a long driving range, while the compact dimensions mean it’s more suited to the cut and thrust of urban driving than the overlanding trails that Jeep is synonymous with. This top-spec Summit edition looks pricey, but it’s packed with kit.”

“The Jeep Avenger is a fantastic small electric car that’s fun, comfortable, practical and characterful. Being only a touch longer than a VW Polo, it’s great for around-town manoeuvring and better than most other compact SUVs that are noticeably bigger than the Avenger. An official range of 248 miles means it’s efficient and should be fine for long journeys, too.”

“The Jeep Avenger is another welcome addition to the choice of electric cars for consumers. It has a platform that has been proven in other Stellantis models to be fun to drive, and the official combined electric driving range of 249 miles is likely to be sufficient for many people. The Jeep has its own design style, both outside and inside, but the brand’s go-anywhere image doesn’t translate to the actual abilities of this car, thanks to the front-wheel drive only powertrain and the lack of tyres that can cope with off-road terrain.”

“The Jeep Avenger feels like more than the sum of its parts, with driving and usage enjoyment that transcend the on-paper EV specification. The exterior looks and interior build give the impression of a car you could take anywhere, and the offroad modes really work, despite this only being a front-wheel-drive vehicle. But it’s not quite a must-have EV in an increasingly competitive market.”
